Dani Rose
Dani started conventional fishing with her grandfather since as early as she can remember. Those fishing memories with him are treasured.
A planned business trip to Estates Park several years ago gave her the opportunity to pursue fly fishing.
She was challenged by the art of casting and terminology.
​
Fly Fishing was something that would provide continued growth opportunities for the rest of her life.
She is the First Vice President of Texas Women Fly Fishers and lives in the DFW Metroplex.
She is committed to diversity and inclusion, on and off the water.

Bruce Sublett
Bruce Sublett has more than fifty years experience fly fishing in Texas, and almost as much experience as a fly tyer.
​
From 2004 to 2019 he fronted an internet custom fly business called Gulf and Ozark Flies.
​
He has been a program presenter and featured tyer at Southern Council, Gulf Coast Council, Texas Council and a host of other events.
​
His original flies hold several Texas private water records, including bluegill and hybrid striper, caught in the Bryan/College Station area. Bruce lives and fishes in the Lufkin area.

Chris Johnson
Chris is the owner and founder of Living Waters Fly Fishing, a fly shop and guide service based out of Round Rock, Texas.
He has guided the Texas Hill Country for fifteen years, and has fly fished the heart of the state for over 20 years. Chris has been a licensed guide in Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado, and Alaska.
Chris is a FFI Certified Casting Instructor, Umpqua Signature Fly Designer, Tenkara USA Guide, and TPWD Angler Educator Area Chief.
He is also a pro team member for Whiting Farms, Scott Fly Rods, Dyna-King, and Scientific Anglers.

Jeff Ferguson
Jeff’s fly fishing experience began in the early 60’s fishing the South Louisiana marshes for bass and bream.
He became a CCI in 2013 and an MCI in 2016. In 2019 he received the FFI Council Excellence Award for the Gulf Coast Council for his outstanding contributions to FFI.
​
Jeff was appointed to the FFI Casting Board of Governors in 2020. He has been dedicated to educating others at events through presentations, casting instruction or both.
Nowadays, he enjoys chasing schools of redfish far back in the Louisiana marshes.

Capt. Stacy Lynn
Captain Stacy Lynn has been an avid saltwater and freshwater fly angler since 1995.
She is the owner of WOW Fly Fishing, operating out of Galveston. WOW is dedicated to the experiences, education and business of fly fishing.
She has 20+ years as a professional fly fishing coach, and is a Fly Fishers Intl. Certified Instructor.
​
She is a graduate of Joan Wulff’s Fly Fishing Instructor’s School. She is also a USCG Captain and a TPWD Licensed Saltwater Fly Fishing Guide.
She has been a featured speaker, demonstrator, instructor, and volunteer at many events.
She is a member of the Texas Women Fly Fishers club and interacts frequently with several of the other FFI Clubs, and volunteers at Casting for Recovery.

Rob McConnell
Robert H. McConnell was born and raised in Blairsville, Pennsylvania. There he developed an affinity for fishing and anything related to the outdoors.
In 2014, Rob and his family relocated to Houston, Texas, where he continues exploring his passion for the outdoors.
In 2020, Robert McConnell self-published his first guidebook, Fly Fishing the Sam. This book aimed to promote the sport of fly fishing in the waterways flowing through Houston’s closest national forest, the Sam Houston National Forest.
In 2023, McConnell published his second guidebook, Fly Fishing Houston & Southeastern Texas. This second book examines the freshwater fly fishing opportunities in and around the Houston metropolitan area.
In addition to authoring two guidebooks, McConnell has contributed several articles that have appeared in Hatch Magazine and On The Fly Magazine.
